Collection Description: Passing-by, a collection that captures fleeting moments and vivid memories, encapsulating the essence of those who traverse my path. Inspired by a spellbinding encounter on Broadway, amidst bustling crowds, I was entranced by the ephemeral nature of these passing figures. Their elusive presence, whether human or mannequin, sparked intrigue and imagination. Through visual documentation and multidimensional artistry photography, videography, illustration. I immortalized their transitory portraits. Now, these captivating impressions manifest in designs, unveiling the visual realm that blossomed within mind.

Illusion bodysuit set: Print and Fashion Design inspired by the visual illusion I had while walking on streets and seeing “passerbyers“.
Design & Production Process

Experimentations such as thermal research was used in the primary research .
Fashion prints enabled the concept to be exhibited using repeating structures and patterns producing illusory pieces that present a visual malfunctional environment. For a number of outfits, misleading elements such as printing knit scans on cotton materials were used to manifest the contrast of mood in what is seen may not be what it is.
A small social investigation of first-hand research was completed to document people on the street and their common phenomenon of carrying belongings. A functional and detachable weight-sharing component was then designed to improve the clothing structure. In contrast to a modern realistic society, the effect of the collection brings imagination of this parallel world into focus with functionality.
